Day of the Dead (1985) aka The Legend of Tom Savini. The finest makeup work I think I’ve ever seen in a zombie movie. This was pretty good, a lot of good philosophical zombie stuff which I always enjoy, with just enough blood and guts to keep the whole thing going.
